China adheres to the policy of good-neighborly friendship and tries to benefit the neighbouring countries with its own development. China and Myanmar are a community of common interests and of common destiny sharing weal and woe. Both sides should, from a strategic and long-term perspective, firmly forge ahead in the right direction of bilateral relations. China is ready to maintain exchanges of high-level visits with Myanmar, to share more experience on state governance and to upgrade political mutual trust. China is ready, by the principles of mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, to strengthen bilateral friendly cooperation based on accommodation of each other's concerns and to push for new progress of major bilateral cooperation projects. China supports Myanmar to play a greater role in regional and international affairs. Myanmar will hold the rotating presidency of the ASEAN next year. China hopes that Myanmar will play a positive role in promoting all-dimensional, healthy and stable development of China-ASEAN relations.

Liu Yandong expressed that sincerity makes lifetime friends. The relevant events of the Games show the latest outcomes of people-to-people and cultural cooperation between China and Myanmar. Both sides should take a long-term perspective and explore new ways to unceasingly push for in-depth development of bilateral people-to-people and cultural exchanges.
