Hungarian citizens may visit Hong Kong for up to 90 days without a visa, but a visa is required for those to work, study, establish or join in any business or to take up residence.

How to apply

1.  You must come to the visa office of the Consular Section of the Chinese Embassy to submit the application, or you may entrust someone else or a travel/visa agent to come to the visa office of the Consular Section of the Chinese Embassy for application process. 

2.  Mail applications are not acceptable and will be refused.

3.  No appointment is required. 

4.  You may also send your applications to Hong Kong Immigration Department(Please visit http: // www. immd. gov. hkfor requirements).

Visa fee and processing time

1.  7000Ft for citizens of all countries.

2.  The regular processing time is 4 working days. For express service, additional fees of 7000Ft for 1 working day processing (applications presented before 10:30am may be picked up between 11:00-11:45pm on the same day), and 4500Ft for 2-3 working days processing will be charged.
